Industry Practice: Role


 

2D Lead Artist

As the 2D Lead Artist, my role for my group is to delegate the work within the group, observe and give the final say on the art for the game we are creating.

As a lead artist, I must also work on maintaining a schedule and ensure that the visual art is consistent.

However, within the past months, I have realised my shortcomings when it came to this role. I haven't been maintaining a consistent schedule with my peers due to both real life and other projects in other classes. BUT. this is not an excuse.

Another issue that I have noticed was the lack of communication from not only me, but my peers too. Three of them haven't reached out or have been seen in a number of weeks which will naturally lead to complications. This would require me to either reach out or pick up the workload on their end.
