Building Alliances: Block outs
I have created a few blockouts as a concept for the designs of the models we will be presenting.
For the first, I had created a block out of the diving gear's air tanks that would be placed on the back of the diver as they traverse. It wouldn't be too large or else the weight will restrain the marine biologist even further.The next few are small parts to the puzzle idea I had in mind for the possible safes hidden with rewards. The player would have to cut the wires correctly to open it without it imploding for example. I also figured I could add a keypad too to type in a possible code.
I plan to create further developments tomorrow to post on the blog with a deeper analysis.
If there is one thing I'd like to address is the struggle with creating an air tank in Maya. I struggle with creating a tube to curl around and seem genuine. This is an issue I must work on at some point or create an entirely different asset to compensate.

I have designated 3D assets to my peers to work on as blockouts/renders depending on how far they have gotten.
These include structures such as Pillars and rubble.
