Building Alliances: Presentation and 3D Blockout Process

In our lecture today, Banshee Studios (my group) presented our pitch to the class for our game, Subsignal. For my part in the presentation, I provided the base story line we had gone with:
- Nottingham set 500 years into the future
- Global warming's effect on the sea levels rising at an abnormal rate
- Nottingham flooded
- Caves collapsed and taken over by the sea
- Player: Marine set to explore these caves and cover new uncharted territory etc.

We will be provided the feedback soon.

In addition, I worked on the blockout for the oxygen tank.

It is a simplistic design as I wanted these to be oxygen tanks left behind during the flooding that can be discovered and used by the player. Furthermore, as the Lead 3D designer, I felt as though creating multiple versions of the mesh would provide more creativity and allow us to present more assets rather than restricting it to just one person for each asset. No designs will be exactly the same as the other due to the minds of others functioning differently.
