Real Worlds: Blockout

 Following the basic planning for the checkpoint, I have been working on the block out, mainly for a part of the bridge and the Hero Building. The idea here is to create an underpass where vehicles/people would traverse through to progress their journey. This is also a form of defence to possible attacks from the enemy. Typically the checkpoint isn't significantly large nor fully indoors. Considering that this will be a battlefield, I felt it was best to also implement an alternative route than the typical head on assault. An underpass would be perfect for that sort of thing so I am creating one for the general idea. This would force the CDSP to focus on multiple areas of OPPORTUNITY ATTACKS. Between a ladder and a staircase, I felt it was beneficial to implement a staircase for soldiers who wished to be on higher ground.

Real Worlds Map: Checkpoint

CHECKPOINT: The idea for the map is that it is a checkpoint on top of a bridge. The CDPS is in control of what goes in and what comes out with checkpoints. This is in case any beings that aren't so welcome try to migrate in easily. Instead they must bypass through. It is a safety pracaution. But what if in this case, it is also a battlefield? The bridge would be lined up with defensive measures, possibly destroyed rubble and debris. These are all things to consider. MAP CONCEPT: I will be 3D Modelling a part of the bridge, applying detail to the checkpoint building. Some defence barriers. Ammo crates and possibly a generator. The bridge with be a basic 3D blockout whilst the others are much more detailed and rendered.
